The latest addition to Tokimeku’s custom automation lineup is our tabletop jig and press-fit machine, delivering industrial-level precision in a compact, space-saving design. Designed with space efficiency in mind, this system requires minimal tabletop space while providing consistent, repeatable press-fit performance suitable for high-quality assembly operations.
Safety and ease of operation are ensured through a dual-button safety activation system, requiring both buttons to be pressed simultaneously to initiate the cycle. This prevents accidental actuation caused by unintended contact, enhancing operator safety and meeting standard industrial safety practices.
At the core of the system is a custom Poka-Yoke jig (mistake-proofing mechanism). The jig is precisely designed so that the workpiece can only be loaded in one correct orientation and facing, completely eliminating the possibility of incorrect insertion. This ensures zero assembly errors and 100% positional accuracy for every cycle, significantly reducing rework and scrap.
The operating sequence is straightforward and efficient. The operator places the bottom component into the Poka-Yoke jig, followed by positioning the top component above it. Once both safety buttons are pressed simultaneously, the pneumatic press engages and applies a controlled, constant pressing force, joining the components securely. The regulated pneumatic pressure guarantees uniform press-fit tightness across all parts, regardless of operator experience or fatigue.
Compared to manual press-fitting, where force variation and operator fatigue can result in inconsistent quality, Tokimeku’s press-fit machine delivers repeatable precision, improved throughput, and superior process reliability. The result is higher product quality, improved operator ergonomics, and a scalable solution ideal for production environments requiring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
