Our show machine demonstrates our "Automation without Disruption" by seamlessly integrating two standalone systems from global manufacturers:
- Hakko HU-200 Auto Soldering Machine (Japan)
- LPKF CuttingMaster 2240 (Germany)
Despite originating from different suppliers and ecosystems, these machines are fully synchronized and function as a single, cohesive production line within Tokimeku’s custom-built automation platform.
Automated Production Flow
The cycle begins at the initial pick tray, where a tray containing six workpieces is transported via a conveyor system. A pick-and-place unit transfers the tray onto a secondary conveyor, which automatically feeds it into the LPKF CuttingMaster 2240.
The CuttingMaster 2240 performs laser depaneling of circuit boards, a modern, non-contact process that improves edge quality and can increase production yield by up to 30%.
Once depaneling is completed, the tray is automatically returned via the secondary conveyor into the main system, where the workpieces undergo in-line quality inspection using an integrated 2D vision camera.
Workpieces that pass inspection are then individually picked and placed onto a custom-designed jig on the Hakko HU-200 Auto Soldering Machine, triggering the automated soldering process. The HU-200 delivers highly consistent soldering quality and supports over 1,000 programmable recipes, making it ideal for high-mix, low-volume production environments.
After soldering, the completed workpieces are picked up in an array (all six units simultaneously) and returned to the starting position, where the cycle repeats seamlessly.
Flexible, Scalable, and Future-Ready Automation
This system showcases how machines from different manufacturers can be fully synchronized into a single automated production line—without major modifications to the original equipment or existing process flow.
